After torrential rains and flooding across the region, the Yacht Club Open Day was happily greeted with bright sunshine and calm waters. Families and friends flocked to the recently refurbished club to enjoy the tranquil peace and beauty of the scenery,
The retiled deck and Club house floor, the manicured gardens, modern toilets and hot water shower together with a child safe pool, all added to the pleasure.
For the children there was a bouncy castle, swimming and a ride on a sail boat thanks to Koki and John.
After a light lunch, some of the more active adults enjoyed a treasure hunt arranged by Jean and Michael
Meanwhile our busy Manager Erick was signing in new members who were taking advantage of the reduced charges
